The National Ski Center of Seli, is located at an altitude of 1530 m to 1890 m and is the first organized ski center in the country. It has been operating since 1934, the year when the first Panhellenic Ski Games were organized. In 1955 the first lift in the country was installed (aerial chair 750m long) that reached an altitude of 1600m while in the year 1968 it expanded by 500m reaching an altitude of 1730m. On 4/2/1972 with a Royal Decree is characterized a national stadium with the name “National Ski Center of Seli”.
 Today it has 10 lifts: 6 single-seater slides and 1 two-seater aerial and 4 baby-lifts. All are of modern construction (2000, 2002, 2007) while it has 13 tracks of green, blue and red colors. It is 24 km from Veria, 20 km from Naoussa, 95 km from Thessaloniki and 74 km from Kozani.
